Warranty Information
Barrel Only/Blanks
We warrant all materials and our workmanship 100% for the life of the barrel. Naturally we cannot guarantee normal wear and tear. Barrel life will vary wildly based on a number of factors and we cannot give exact round counts.
We can guarantee the quality of our barrels but we cannot guarantee the quality of someone else's work. If an issue occurs with a barrel only, we can inspect the barrel to make sure it was installed properly. If it is a blank, we can only inspect and verify the barrel. All threading and chambering issues must be brought up with the gunsmith doing the install. The quality of threading and chambering is heavily dependent on your gunsmiths abilities, equipment, and tooling.
Shaw Rifles/Shaw Precision Guns must be notified within one (1) year from the date of purchase/delivery of any defects in materials or workmanship encountered during normal use.
Barrel Install Work Done By Shaw Barrels
All barrel installations done by Shaw Custom Barrels are backed 100%. If there are any defects in materials and worksmanship, we will do whatever we can to make everything right. We cannot warrant the quality of a receiver that is not our own. We have seen modern actions and military actions fail. If a failure arises during test firing we stop all work and contact the customer.
We can realistically give a guarantee of 1 MOA or better at 100 yards. Some calibers are not included in our accuracy guarantee. Since there are so many factors at play that are out of our control we cannot warrant everything. Variations in bedding, scope, base, and external work quality can greatly affect accuracy. If you are having problems with your product please contact us and we will go over possible options.
Shaw Rifles/Shaw Precision Guns must be notified within one (1) year from the date of purchase/delivery of any defects in materials or workmanship encountered during normal use.
